ABOUT US
Brahma Kumaris is a World Spiritual Organization (BKWSO) working at all levels of society for positive change. Established in India in the 1930's the organization has over 9000 centers in more than 120 countries.
It actively participates in a wide range of educational programs in areas such as Women, men, youth, children, environment, peace, values, social development, education, health etc. The BKWSO was established as a USA charity in 1977 and charges no fees for any of its activities. BKWSO is a 501.c.3 not-for-profit organization being funded solely by voluntary contributions.

The technique of meditation taught and practiced is "Raja Yoga Meditation" through which one learns to connect with ones true Self. It is a journey of Self-Discovery, Self-Empowerment, Self-Realization and Self Transformation, acquired with the Light of Knowledge and Power of Meditation. Effort is in practicing a higher consciousness, elevated awareness and use of ones inherent qualities and powers in practical lives.

Local Centers around the world provide courses and lectures in meditation and positive values, supporting individuals from all religious and cultural backgrounds.
